About Me

From the very first words I learned, I've approached English as a kind of not-so-secret code that gives me access to worlds more expansive than my own small niche.

My work in both publishing and education has revealed fascinating layers of these coded worlds and allowed me to give readers and learners access to the worlds that are of particular interest to them.

When not reading, I try to spend the rest of my time cycling, cooking, parsing sentences, drawing, watching electrical storms with all the lights out, knitting, and climbing.
